Oh, the call of the outdoors. Armstrong Woods is definitely one of my all time favorite hiking spots! Located in Guerneville, California, Armstrong Woods has a huge place in my heart. Explore huge Redwoods and saunter through 805 acres of preserved Coastal Redwoods.
There are many different trails to choose from that range from easy to strenuous. If you have small children or would like to take a stroll, the paved path still brings you closer into the call of the woods. If you’re looking for more of a challenge, Bullfrog trail has lots of steep inclines.
The woods is absolutely breathtaking. Take a moment and enjoy the outdoors. Breathe in the crisp air. Pause. Look up towards the tall Redwoods. Listen to the sounds that surround you. It’s absolute happiness.
